Photos: John Mahama and His Lawyers Arrive at the Supreme Court for the 2020 Election Petition Hearing

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Mahama and his lawyers arrived at the Supreme Court for the election petition hearing.

Mr. John Mahama in a petition has asked the Apex court to nullify the 2020 election result and orders for a runoff between him and Nana Addo.

In a related development, the Supreme Court has ruled today January 14, that, the 2020 election petition will be broadcast live on television.

The Supreme Court gave the ruling during a preliminary hearing of the case today.

Lawyers of Mr Mahama had argued live broadcast of the proceedings will be in the interest of the state. The court also heard an application by the petitioner to correct some mistakes in his suit.
