Man Who Arrested Armed Robbers Receives Chieftaincy Title

The story of Alex Osei Donkoh, now known as Nana Osei Okogyeaman I, is a remarkable one.

The 42-year-old man has earned himself a chieftaincy role in the Adansi Praso Traditional Council in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, thanks to his brave act of arresting armed robbers.

His enstoolment as Gyaasehene on Thursday, April 20, 2023, followed the customary and traditional processes, after which he was presented to the family and the entire Adansi Praso Township in a colorful procession through the principal streets.

This honor was bestowed upon him by the traditional leaders and people of Adansi Praso in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards the peace and development of the area.

According to the Chief of Adansi Praso, Nana Agyemang Pemsan I, Nana Osei Okogyeaman’s effort in hunting down notorious criminals who were tormenting the lives of the locals and subsequently handing them over to the police for prosecution has brought peace and stability to the community.

He truly deserves commendation, and the chieftaincy title will forever remain in his house.
