NDC Volta Youth wing celebrates the exploits of Rawlings

The Volta Regional Youth wing of NDC have celebrated the exploits of His Excellency President Jerry John Rawlings on the occasion of his 72nd birthday celebrations.

The team acknowledged warmly, how Mr Rawlings made the Ghanaian Youth the pivot of the revolution which gave birth to the NDC today.

According to them, the former President brought the best in them and laid a solid framework for youth-centred human capital development.

Youth Organizer of the NDC Volta Regional Youth wing, Mathias Alagbo (Kabila) said, “We warmly recounted also how you gave limitless opportunities to the Ghanaian Youth during your reign to prove their mettle and commitment to nation building and development.

He added, “We, therefore, deemed it necessary to celebrate you on this special occasion because you were and remain to all, an icon of hope, truth and justice which is critical for our party and nation’s revival.”

“We wish you well and prayed to God to grant you excellent health and long life so you can continue to be a fountain of wisdom and good counsel for the NDC and Ghana even as we press on for victory 2020. God bless you,” Kabila said.
