Your Power Is From The People, Not From Your Wigs – Manasseh Azure Tells Supreme Court Judges

Renowned Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has reacted to a caution from the Judiciary, warning media houses and individuals to refrain from setting the judiciary up for public attacks.

The Judiciary, in a letter from their lawyer, Thaddaeus Sory, cautioned the media against reportage which they claim, scandalize the judiciary and set them up for public attacks.

The letter even went ahead to instruct media houses to delete any reports they have made against the judiciary in the past to avoid further punitive action.

However, in a reaction on Facebook, Manasseh Azure bemoaned the attempt by the judiciary to gag Ghanaians from criticizing their work.

The award-winning journalist was of the opinion that the Judiciary should not capitalize on the insanity of a few persons to gag all Ghanaians from expressing their opinions.
