Video: 7 Strong Lawyers Of Obinim Sacked From Court During His Hearing

Seven great lawyers of Bishop Daniel Obinim‘s legal team has been sacked from court during his hearing.

The incident happened during his first hearing yesterday in court after he was granted a Ghc100,000 bail for forgery and publication of false news on May 19, 2020, following his arrest on the same day and to re-appear before the court on June 1, 2020.

According to reports, the head pastor of International God’s Way Church appeared in court with a retinue of a legal team.

Obinim is his quest to win this case by hook or crook obviously assembled the bright and best of 8 strong lawyers to the courtroom but the judge overseeing the case sacked 7 of them on the grounds of adhering to social distancing to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

According to the judge, he understood the need for all Obinim’s legal team members but he did that based on the preventive measures adopted due to the coronavirus pandemic, like avoiding overcrowding.
