Government of Ghana Cancels Payment of Utility Bills For 3 Months Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

The government of Ghana has canceled the payment of utility bills as part of efforts to curb the deadly Coronavirus in Ghana.

This was made known by the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

In his 5th address to the nation, the president revealed that the payment of utility bills in Ghana has been suspended for three months.

He also stated that the ECG and the Ghana Water Company have been ordered to suspended any disconnection with this period.
