Balotelli shows massive support for Stonebwoy after VGMA saga

Ghanaian born Italian soccer player Mario Balotelli has waded into the recent brouhaha between dancehall musicians Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

Mario Balotelli is one top personality to have commented concerning the recent incident between top dancehall artistes.

In a comment that YEN.com.gh sighted on the Instagram page of Stonebwoy, Balotelli wrote the fire emoji as a sign of support for Stonebwoy.

After Stonebwoy posted a video of a song he was featured on by Jamaican singer Chichinching, the Nice player took to the comment section to express his support.

His support is part of a series of supporting messages written in the comment section after the ‘Kpoo Keke’ hitmaker posted a video to prove he is not a weak person.

Ghanaians and music lovers all over the world have been divided following the recent brawl between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. While some expressed their support for Shatta Wale, others have thrown their support behind the ‘Kpoo Keke’ hitmaker.

The scuffle that occurred between the two top dancehall artistes in Ghana have been a topical issue in the public domain.

The scuffle began after the ‘Kpoo Keke’ hitmaker was announced as winner of the VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year category.

Shatta Wale who is a competitor in that category walked up with his team to the podium at the time when Stonebwoy was receiving his award.

The action by the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker was misunderstood by Stonebwoy and his team, resulting in a scuffle.

The incident which is currently in court has resulted in the VGMA board banning the two musicians.

In addition to the ban, the two artistes have been stripped off the awards they won at the just-ended VGMA event.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy will be appearing in court on a later date as the issue is being judged by an Accra Circuit Court.
