Akufo-Addo’s Government Finally Releases Dumsor Timetable to Manage Power Outages

President Akufo-Addo’s new government has released the timetable for Dumsor in order to manage the blackout situation in the country.

From Thursday 18th to 21st March, the people of Volta and Oti Region will experience power outages as the Ghana Grid Company plans to undertake repair works on a transformer that supplies power to both regions.

The scheduled repairs work will see parts of the two regions experiencing light out from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and others from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Eyebrows were raised when Ghanaians realized there has been a continues light out in the country with the main question on everyone’s lip being if we are back into the era of Dumsor. A popular Ghanaian term that translates “Off and On”. This might either be the solution to the problem or just the beginning of the real Dumsor.
