Your Incompetence Is Alarming; Prove Your Worth – Supremo Mensa

It is said and indeed a fact that, your MP determines the potency of your constituency. Since he or she is representative the entirety of that political landmark and his or her actions and inactions greatly impacts the constituency.

Just like the twin City Obuasi enviably has a twin constituency, one which under normal circumstances will be difficult to differentiate; the Obuasi East and West Constituencies.

The West has the vociferous Kwaku Agyemang Kwarteng, former deputy finance Minister and the current chairman for the finance committee while the East has Patrick Boakye Yiadom as legislators respectively.

One could easily differentiate between the two. The former debating issues on the floor of parliament, lobbying for projects into his constituency, making himself relevant at all times and latter who happens to be Patrick Boakye Yiadom, a medical doctor and a vice chairman on health committee, becoming so irrelevant and incompetent in parliament.

The grace period is over and hon. Patrick Boakye Yiadom must show his worth as an MP. The Obuasi East is almost an elite community with many promising Youth and as deserving, demands an up to task MP.

We are talking about a person who is completely lost in parliament, completely dumb on issues, absolutely irrelevant to catch the attention of the media on issues, can’t point to one single GOG project he lobbied for the constituency yet is always at the defense of doing all his works at the committee level.

One would ask if such is even the case then what work do you do in terms of the bad roads in your constituency since you don’t find yourself at the transport committee?

Secondary schools in your constituency is in mess, basic schools are in mess and performing abysmally, Youth unemployment in the Constituency has risen with an over 60 percent increments, bad roads are all over, the constituency with a district attached has no government hospital, everything is worse yet an MP is not ready to learn to fight for his people to get this on track. We the Obuasi East youth are learning from the Odotobiri constituency and wouldn’t allow such misfortune to bedevil us.
