You Don’t Solve Zongo Problems With Astro Turfs – Alhaji Alhassan Tells NPP Government

Tamale North Member of Parliament, Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, has admonished the ruling NPP government for touting itself with astro turfs in terms of development for Zongo communities.

Speaking on Metro TV, Mr Suhuyini noted that the creation of the Zongo Ministry raised expectations for the people of Zongo considering the number of issues they have, however, years down the line all government could brag about is the construction of astro turfs.

“When you talk about the problems in the Zongo and the expectation of the Zongo Ministry when it was set up and you are told the results is Astro turfs, you wonder if they really understand the problems of Zongos”.

To him, the ministry was a failure and the only thing they did better was beautification of President Akufo-Addo’s residence at Nima.
