Prioritising Cases of Senior Lawyers is an age-old Tradition that needs to be Respected – Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah

The Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah has urged all trial court judges to priorities cases of senior lawyers over their junior counterparts.

According to the Chief Justice, prioritizing cases of senior lawyers is an age-old tradition that needed to be respected.

He further said that prioritizing cases of senior lawyers will afford young lawyers the opportunity to learn from the seniors to enrich the whole legal training experience beyond lessons in the chambers and other places of work.

The CJ’s directive was contained in a circular dated 22 March 2022.

He said: “I would request all trial court judges to strictly adhere to this age-old tradition and resort to inviting applications from seniors first.”
