No one without vaccination card will be allowed entry at any December event - Mark Okraku Mantey

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey has layout some COVID-19 guidelines to all Ghanaians ahead of December events.

If you are planning to have fun this December in Ghana by attending social gatherings and events then you’d need the COVID-19 vaccination card.

According to the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Honourable Mark Okraku Mantey, the government has outlined requirements and guidelines to control and avoid the spread of COVID-19 within the December events.

Speaking on Hitz FM, he detailed some of the requirements and mentioned that people who have not been vaccinated, hence, do not have vaccination cards would not be allowed entries to social gatherings.

In the video below, he reminded event organizers not to overcrowd their venues so that social distancing can be practised.

When you want to go for any event, especially when we’ve launched ‘December in GH’, we’re saying that we’re targeting about 150,000 people entering the country between now and January; we don’t have to go and have fun and come back with Covid-19,” he said.
