My son is not a ‘fraud boy’ – Medikal’s mother laments

Mother of Ghanaian hip hop musician, Medikal has warned critics to stop referring to her son as a ‘fraud boy’.

According to Madam Portia Lamptey, her son is a hardworking man who has other businesses aside doing music.

Madam Portia also added that she gets worried when her son is tagged as a fraud boy because he worked really hard to achieve everything he has now.

“I get soo worried when people refer to my son as a fraud boy. Medikal is not a fraud boy and when I hear stories like that, I get soo worried and disturbed.

“He works so hard for everything he’s enjoying now. Medikal does other business aside music, he’s now an ambassador of a mobile company as well. Fraud is out”, she stated.

She recently revealed in an interview that she wanted her son, Medikal, originally known as Samuel Adu Frimpong to become a doctor but he had the passion for rap and pursued it.

She also disclosed that the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker was expelled from school due to his interest in rap.
