Let’s Build A Statue For Daddy Lumba – Lord Paper Begs Industry Gate Keepers

Ghanaian soul, afrobeat’s and hip hop musician Michael Takyi-Frimpong known by the stage name Lord Paper has urged the people of Ghana, most especially the industry gate keepers to build a status to celebrate the legendary Daddy Lumba for his immense contribution to the creative art industry.

Known in the showbiz fraternity as Daddy Lumba or D.L , Charles Kojo Fosu has been in the music industry for more decades and still counting. Over 40 albums to his credit, Lumba has been on the wheels of Ghana music promoting Ghana and our culture to the world. At age 56 and still doing music and producing hits songs, Daddy Lumba is no doubt a legend in the game. Section of Ghanaians think it’s about time we honors our heroes when they are alive than the opposite.

Jumping into the debate is Lord Paper, best known for his 2016 single “Awurama” Lord thinks Daddy Lumba needs to be honored by building a statue for him. He made this claims in his “Asa Bone” song which he featured “Ataa Adwoa” hit maker Bosom P Yung. At the end of the Video reads, let’s building a statue for Daddy Lumba. A wake up call which many have cried out, but it seems the gate keepers have laid deaf ears to it.
