Jerusalema by Master KG Crowned Global Record of the Year at Global Music Awards Africa

Africa was on total lockdown on the biggest awards night at Global music awards Africa which came of on Saturday 20th March 2021 to award musical talents who has made great impact in the industry. The awards night was grace with exciting performance from various artiste across the continent.

It was a night of full glamour with tight competition in all the categories. One category that was tightly contested was Global Record of the Year, but it was easily won by South Africa’s Master KG’s Jeruselema.

Jerusalema upon it released has become a global hit making airwave with a total of 363 million YouTube watch hour in just a year. Jeruselema a Zulu language which is translated in English as Jerusalem is our home is enjoyed by many across the globe although the song was sang in South Africa Zulu language.

For once an award scheme has been genuine, we congratulate Master KG and Nomcebo for their great work and keep flagging the map of Africa high.
