I’m not Shock Kuame Eugene won VGMA2020 Artiste of the year; the Board consider votes more than talent – Kwadwo Preko Dankwa

It was time to draw the curtains down on 2020 in retrospect in the creative art industry. Many have gone down into memory lane, but one that still ring bell in many peoples ears is the controversial crowning of Lynx Entertainment signee Kuame Eugene as Artiste of the year.

On the hot seat of Kingdom 101.9 F.M entertainment Arena where Accra’s finest Presenter Londona is the master driver, Kojo Preko Dankwa when asked about his concerns on the winner of the most prestigious award of the event, he made it clear that he has nothing to say since the board are more focused on votes rather than talents which is something that needs a critical look at.

He said ,“If we keep on depending on votes, we might end up not getting the quality we need out there”
