Ghanaian cultural advocate and policymaker, Hon. Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has been unanimously elected Chairperson of the African Union Specialised Technical Committee (STC) on Youth, Sports and Culture.

Her election, endorsed by ministers and technical experts from across the continent, underscores her extensive experience and dedication to youth empowerment, cultural promotion, and the creative arts. The Specialised Technical Committee plays a pivotal role in shaping continental strategies and policy frameworks that guide Africa’s youth development, sports initiatives, and cultural heritage preservation.
