Interestingly enough, the demonstrators, who are holding signs and wearing red and black clothing, demand that the country’s existing leaders step down.

In addition, they also lamented Ghana’s continuing rate of price increases for products and services.

They contend that poor government management of the nation’s resources has made it difficult for the majority of Ghanaians to maintain a respectable standard of living.

Martin Kpebu, an attorney, and Oliver Barker Vormawor, the lead convener of the “#FixtheCountryMovement,” were also sighted as part of the early morning demonstration.

Various inscriptions were seen on the placards that the protesters held in their hands. Among them were  “The people hold the power”, and” Quit Right Away! “Mr. President, You are wearing a pair of enormous shoes”, “It’s possible that over 10 million Ghanaians are homeless and that 85% sleep on the streets. “Nana, Ghanaians are sick of your government. Step down.”; “New Constitution Now.” “as well as others.

In the meantime, the protest leaders have urged participants to abstain from all forms of violence. Below are some photos of the demonstration.
