(Video) Ghanaians Troll Nigeria’s ”Door Of Return” initiative
The federal government of Nigeria yesterday launched a new initiative called ‘Door of Return’ intended to encourage African Diasporans to come to Africa (specifically Nigeria) to explore, settle and invest in the continent.
This follows Ghana’s hugely successful ” Year of Return ” which saw many African Americans and other superstars from the diaspora trooping into the country to explore the country and see and learn first hand the history of their ancestors and the slave trade and also invest in the continent.
Looking at the great benefits and popularity Ghana derived from the ” Year Of Return ” initiative, its sister country Nigeria has launched theirs with a quite interesting name ” Door Of Return “
Social media users think it’s unnecessary for Nigeria to imitate Ghana because they have nothing to show especially no electricity to light the country when foreigners come to their country.
Following are some of the trolling comments from social media users:
Everything Ghana does Nigeria want do, we did year of return, now they also want to do DOOR OF RETURN!
