Please Reopen Schools – Ghanaians Tell Akufo Addo As He Prepares To Address The Country Today
It is that time again when the president takes the podium to address the nation on various measures taken and are being taken to address the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Dubbed Update number 15, president Akufo Addo will address the nation as usual via online outlets like his official Facebook page, Ministry of Information Facebook page amongst others.
The address will also be televised on some selected state owned TV stations which will be communicated later in the day.

Ahead of the president’s address in the evening of today the 16th of August 2020 at exactly 8:00 PM, many Ghanaians have expressed their expectations and desires to the president in response to the notice he served on his official Twitter page earlier today.
Many are pleading with the president to reopen schools for them to go since they apparently miss it.
Some however plead with the president to consider increasing their NSS allowance by at least 20% to help them mitigate the impact of the COVID-19.
Others also suggested that the president opens airports for citizens stranded outside of the country come in.
Some people also advocated for the president to give them 3 more months holidays enjoy electricity for free.
