[OFFICIAL] Class Media Group Terminates Appointment of KKD as CEO

Class Media Group, operators of Class 91.3 FM, Accra 100.5 FM, Kumasi 104.1 FM, as well as CTV and ClassFMonline.com. has officially parted ways with Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, popularly known as KKD, who served as the Chief Executive Officer of the media conglomerate.

Reliable information reaching our desk confirms that the celebrated media personality received a formal dismissal letter from the owner of Class Media Group, Alhaji Alhassan Andani Agongo.

The termination letter, dated April 30, 2025, instructed KKD to vacate his position with immediate effect.

Despite the directive, KKD reportedly appealed to host one final program he had already scheduled, citing prior commitments with booked guests. In a gesture of goodwill, the company’s owner permitted him to go ahead with the show, even though, officially, KKD was no longer with the company.

Our source further disclosed that while KKD has expressed a desire to continue working with the media house, management has made it clear that his services are no longer required.
