Mrs. Susan Abena Preko Dankwa Bows out as Human Resources Head of Top Media Group

Mrs. Susan Abena Preko Dankwa has officially tendered her resignation as Human Resources Manager of Top Media Group, operators of Top FM and Top TV, marking the end of her service with the media conglomerate.

Her resignation, which takes immediate effect, was confirmed in an internal communication circulated to staff and management. While the reasons for her decision were not disclosed, sources within the organisation indicate that she is moving on to pursue new professional opportunities.

During her tenure, Mrs. Dankwa played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s human resource systems, streamlining staff welfare initiatives, and overseeing critical recruitment and training exercises aimed at enhancing productivity within the group.

Education and Early Career

A product of Aburi Girls Secondary School, Mrs. Dankwa pursued higher education at the Ghana Institute of Languages, where she obtained a Certificate of Proficiency. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Business Studies) from Wisconsin International University and an HND in Bilingual Secretaryship and Management Studies.

Her career began with OTM Investing Limited as Administrative/HR Manager before moving on to serve as HR/Administrative Manager for Citizen Microfinance Limited.

Leadership and Corporate Experience

Beyond the financial sector, she became the Executive Director of MBM (Media & Brand Management), a marketing company, and later served as Corporate Manager for OTM Foundation. Her banking experience includes a significant role as a Senior Corporate Executive at the now-defunct First Capital Plus Bank.

Media and Entrepreneurial Ventures

Mrs. Dankwa’s media journey began at Hot FM 93.3, where she worked diligently as Client Service, Traffic, and Administrative Manager. She collaborated with some of Ghana’s notable broadcasters, including Adakabre Frimpong Manso, Okyeame Quophie, and Kofi Adoma.

In addition to her corporate and media work, Mrs. Dankwa is currently the CEO and owner of Malai Foods, producers of Malai Kpakposhito Sauce, Malai Spice, and catering services.
