Most of the Youth are on the Streets because of Economic Hardship – Pablo Hxncho
Ghanaian Afro – Dancehall musician Lawrence Nii Adjei Laryea, popularly know as Pablo Hxncho in an interview with Beeniewords on his latest single TSUNII opined that the current economic hardship makes no economic sense to today’s youth.
He said go around and ask for the price of a single room in Accra or Tema and tell me how many young folks can rent it for a year not to talk of marrying and housing a female.
He continued that it’s not as if the youth are lazy since most of them have finished universities with no jobs to do so instead of finding them in the offices with suit & tie you’ll find them surviving in different ways aside their degree on the street and some do churn out very successful.
A lot of guys are not on the street by choice but circumstances has made it hard for the home to meet their basic demands so if they don’t move outside they’ll die inside.
Check out the way fuel prices keep increasing on the daily and you’ll understand why you need Gob3 20ghc today to be able to pacify your belly.
Growing up my mum told me that as a man you need to work to survive so if i have to survive I know I have to go outside and that’s what most of us are on the streets doing and it’s called survival.
As for the politicians they have failed us completely so we as musicians need to encourage the youth not to lose hope since our destiny is in our own hands.
