Katsina K!llings: 100 De@d, Many Others Still Missing

The fight between Yan Sakai vigilantes and terrorists last Thursday/Friday at Yargoje Forest, Kankara LGA, Katsina State, left at least 100 people de@d and others reported missing.
Locals informed media reporters that a state government delegation led by Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Muntari Lawal, had visited the region to express condolences to the relatives of the fatalities.
“Even on Friday, 63 people were buried, and also on Saturday, we witnessed another 30 dead remains being on a canter truck even as more are still being predicted,” said Abubakar Hashimu, a resident of the neighboring Guga Village.
We were really traumatized by the attack because so many residents have left the area since the incident,” he added.
In response to the development, Amiru Tukur, a federal constituency representative for Bakori/Danja, recalls that during the attack, more than 500 terrorists invaded no fewer than five settlements.
“There are numerous informants and bandit collaborators living in the communities,” Tukur pointed out.
The scenario, according to Lawal, who led the delegation from the state government that visited the settlements of Guga, Yargoje, and Gidan Gamji on Sunday to offer condolences to the residents, is extremely terrible.
