According to Abeiku, the stadium must remain active year-round, not just during sporting events. He referenced the existence of other museums and monuments, highlighting their benefits to the country.

“Sports is an integral part of our heritage, and we cannot overlook its significance. We have many great sporting legends who deserve recognition, and this museum will fulfil that purpose,” he remarked.
