Spain and Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been named the best player award at Euro 2024 after guiding his country to their fourth continental crown.

The Manchester City player’s sole goal of the tournament came as the equalizer in a 4-1 victory over Georgia in the round of 16.

Despite this, coach Luis de la Fuente praised him as a “perfect computer” for his precise passing and exceptional game reading, which were crucial in leading a young team through a challenging draw to victory.

Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal bagged the Young Player of the Tournament following an impressive outing for La Roja, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
