Emily in Paris : Lily Collins Is Stuck in a Catch-22 In Season 3 Trailer

The third season of Lily Collins’ “Emily in Paris” teases additional romantic relationships, friendship conflicts, and significant job changes for the title character.
When deciding whether to leave the City of Lights and head back to Chicago, Emily (Collins) is torn between two men and two continents. The first trailer for the new season has Emily traveling across Europe.
Emily (Camille Razat) began Season 2 by declaring her love for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), only to witness him reconcile with Camille, his ex-girlfriend and Emily’s friend.
Instead of following Savoir boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) to her new company, Emily weighs the implications for her other relationships and considers returning to her job in Chicago instead.
What will Emily choose as her stay in France looms in the distance? We at least know Alfie is in it for the long run regardless of what happens because Laviscount has been promoted to a series regular. Also starring are Ashley Park, Bruno Gouery, and Samuel Arnold.
In addition to earning nominations for the Emmy and Golden Globe awards, “Emily in Paris” topped the Netflix charts when it debuted in October 2020. Mega-producer Darren Star, of “Sex and the City” and “Younger,” is the man behind the series. Early this year, Season 4 was already approved.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Star stated that the show had yet to address “how Emily is in relation to individuals she’s left behind and how being an expatriate for a longer amount of time impacts her relationship with her home.”
Also, Season 2 entails Emily’s ringarde attitude towards her new home of France welcomed the nearly meta hate-watching for the show.
To that effect, Lead actor Collins told Glamour in 2021, “We never depicted it as anything other than what it was going to be.”
“People said they were laughing and smiling for the first time in a long time, that it reminded them of what fun felt like and that we were able to offer some escapism and romanticism and travel. I was so proud of that.”
As a matter of fact, season 3 of “Emily in Paris” launches on December 21 on Netflix.
