Dr Atsu Latey And Mr Christopher Dare, Alumni of Christ Symbolic Union International Gain Global Recognition

Dr. Atsu Latey is the founder of MindIT, an innovative IT mediation providing care for people suffering from mental illness or psychological distress.
He is a well-trained mental health specialist who discovered a much easier way of solving mental health issues in Ghana through technology.
Dr. Atsu Latey and his team of committed health personnel created MindIT to provide care for people suffering from mental health challenges. It has experienced over one thousand users since its inception. It works by simply dialing a short code (*711*88#) which connects callers to mental health personnel.
In 2019, MindIT featured in Ghana Health Service’s Mental Health Call Centre and BBC News’ Focus on Africa, allowing many Ghanaians facing mental health challenges to reach out for help while acknowledging Dr. Atsu Latey and his brainchild.
Fast forward to Rwanda — where the inauguration of Carnegie Mellon University, Kigali campus, in Rwanda saw a first-year MSIT student, Christopher Dare (the founder of Brooder Co, an IT solutions company dealing in software development and applications systems) moderate a “fireside” chat session with H.E. President Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda. This opportunity sparked a lot of excitement and conversations on the internet.
