Big News: Ajax Star Mohammed Kudus Arrives in Ghana for 2023 AFCON Showdown!

In exciting news for Ghanaian football fans, Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has arrived in Ghana ahead of the Black Stars’ 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Kudus touched down in the country in the early hours of Tuesday, March 21, 2023, and is now set to join the squad.

The 22-year-old is currently Ghana’s top scorer in the qualifiers, having scored two goals in two games. With his impressive form for both club and country, Kudus is expected to be a key player for the Black Stars in their upcoming fixtures.

Kudus is one of 18 players who have arrived in Ghana so far to prepare for the matches against Angola. Upon his arrival, he will join the squad for their trip to Kumasi on Tuesday to continue their preparations.

Ghana will host the first leg of the encounter on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The second leg is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Estádio 11 de Novembre in Luanda.

The matches are crucial for both teams, as they compete for a place in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana has a proud history in the tournament, having won it four times in the past. However, they have not lifted the trophy since 1982, and fans will be hoping that the current squad can bring home the coveted prize this year.
