Lynx did not have the resources to manage me – Eazzy

Popular Ghanaian female singer, rapper, and songwriter Mildred Ashong popularly known as Eazzy have come out to clear the airwaves on the reason she left her former record label Lynx entertainment.

Briefing Andy Dosty on Day break Hit on Hitz fm monitored by enewsghana.com, the “Bo Wonsem Ma Me” hit maker made it clear that she left Lynx entertainment because the label did not have the resources to maintain her and for that matter she needed to part ways with them and move on with her career. Lynx was nice to me and we work together to achieve what we wanted to achieve, I have never wanted to say this publicly but today I have done it she narrated.

Eazzy was officially signed to Lynx Entertainment in 2009. In her short stay under Lynx, she established and grown as one of the most sought after artistes in the Ghana. Her popular songs; Bo wonsem mame, Wengeze, One Gal and  “Go Go Wind” were all produced by Lynx Entertainment.

In 2012, Eazzy and Lynx Entertainment annulled their business contract and mutually parted ways. She signed with UK Africori Distribution in 2014.

Her second album Against All Odds was released on iTunes in 2014. It features the hit singles “Go Go Wind”, “Scream” and “Bad to da Bone”, the latter of which features vocals from Edem She hosted the Ghana Music Awards in 2014 and 2015. She was an official judge for The Next Big Thing, a hip hop talent series. Moreover, she was a judge on seasons 4, 5 and 7 of MTN Hit Maker.

She has released “Kpakposhito”, “Nana” featuring Stonebwouy “Forever” featuring Mr Eazi “Power” featuring Shatta Wale as well as the solo Hiplife/Afrobeats single “Obaa Gbemi”.

The Former Big Brother Africa house mate is out with series of hit song that the industry is going to jam on. The likes Love Crime, Odo, Away featuring AMG Medikal are some of the hit song on her “SOLO” EP.
