What Happened To All The COVID-19 Fund?
As of yesterday, only one NHIS Office in the Savanna Region Had a common temperature check device.
The West Gonja NHIS Office is the only NHIS office in the whole of Savanna Region with a temperature check device. Even that was donated to them by Independent Parliamentary Aspirant, David Tiki Dange.
Tiki Dange has also promised to complete a sanitary facility for the office as part of his contributions to the fight against COVID-19 in the constituency and region.

The former United Nations (UN) Advisor has donated 6000 face masks, 25 thermometers, 50 face shields and 500 sanitizers to :
1. The St Anne”s catholic Dioceses
2.The Yangbonwura’s palace
3.Damongo Senior High
4.Ndewura Jakpa Senior High
5. NHIS Damongo
6. All Registration Centers in Damongo Constituency
This is about the fourth set of donations he has done after the President announced the lockdown in March.
My question is that how come the NHIS offices in the Savanna Region don’t have simple temperature check devices?
The same NHIS that donated a huge sum of money to the Covid-19 fund yet it’s offices can’t afford a thermometer? Isn’t the concert becoming too much in this country?
What was all the COVID-19 fund including the $1 Billion from IMF and the $100 Million from the World Bank used for?
Yet, we’ve educated Northerners in NPP and Government and in all the parties. They just enjoy being used for their personal interest.
The educated Northern isn’t useful to the region and people there just as the educated Ghanaian isn’t to this nation…
Thank you, David Tiki Dange.
