[VIRAL PHOTO] Meet Shatta Wale; The Infinix Brand Ambassador Who Uses iPhone

To my understanding of  Brand Ambassador, a person, especially a celebrity, who is paid to endorse or promote a particular company’s products or services.

You represent in any aspect of the brand especially promotions and influence. Moving forward, You appear to be the face of the brand henceforth stepping in and engaging  fans and followers to like, patronize and make the particular product their priority.

But on the flip side, Self-acclaimed Africa dancehall king Shatta Wale a.k.a 1DON , alias Champion bet to differ.
Not long ago in the early quarters of 2020, Infinix signed Charles Nii Armah Mensah as their brand ambassador to promote their brand in other to increase sales due to his huge followers and fan base.

A photo of him circulating online shows the Infinix brand ambassador using iPhone and openly showcasing it. The photo which was posted by his publicist Flex K. Germain was deleted upon realizing the harm he’s about to cause.

I don’t know much about Shatta Wale’s contract with Infinix, but am sure Infinix gave him the latest version of their phone to use in other to influence his fans and followers to patronize their products.

I am not against him using iPhone, but to the surprise of taking a picture whiles showcasing iPhone forgetting he’s a Brand Ambassador for a particular product whereby there’s a tight competition between the two brands.

I am not in the quest for contract termination, but I am much concerned about how an ambassador can easily forget himself and do the odd which can cause more harm than good.

Moving forward, I think as an ambassador for a product or service, you have to set standard for yourself and know what’s to do in other Not to violate any terms and conditions within your contract.
