Obour Appointed Managing Director Of Ghana Post Company Limited

Ghanaian musician and former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kuffour has a new portfolio.

Affectionately called Obour, the Konkontiba hitmaker has been appointed the President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo to act as the Managing Director of the Ghana Post Company Limited.

The appointment is in an acting capacity as it is subject to regularization in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Companies Act and the company’s regulation.

In 2020, Bice Osei Kuffour contested for the parliamentary seat in the Asante Akyem Constituency. However, he lost out to the incumbent Kwaku Asante Boateng.

During the Parliamentary Primaries held by the NPP on June 10, the MP came through with 360 votes and Obour followed with 296.
