Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, has tragically passed away at the age of 42.
This untimely demise has not only left the diplomatic community in shock but has also deeply saddened the Zazzau emirate in Kaduna, as Bamalli held the esteemed position of Magajin Garin Zazzau and was the younger biological brother of the Emir of Zazzau.
The Zazzau Emirate Council’s Media and Publicity officer confirmed the ambassador’s death, revealing that it occurred during the early hours of Friday, October 20, 2023.
Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli was in transit to Morocco when he breathed his last in a private hospital located in Lagos.
The statement released by the council stated that details regarding the funeral would be made available at a later time, leaving many to await further information on the final send-off for the late ambassador.
Bamalli leaves behind a grieving family, survived by his wife and two children, who are now faced with the profound loss of a beloved husband and father. His death is not only a personal tragedy but a significant loss for Nigeria’s diplomatic service.
