NDC Unstoppable: Gbande Assures Victory in 2024 Polls
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reassured its members that they will emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections regardless of the machinations of the ruling government and key state institutions that play roles in the elections.
According to a Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mustapha Foyo Gbande, the party is well aware of all the schemes being made ahead of the elections to ensure an NPP victory, but they will not stand aloof for that to happen.
In an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Gbande challenged President Akufo-Addo, saying that even if he makes his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the EC Chairperson, the NDC will win the 2024 elections hands down.
He added that Ghanaians are fed up with the president and his poor standards of governance, and the NDC is poised for victory, and nothing will stop them from achieving that.
There are fears that the NPP, through President Nana, is packing the Electoral Commission, the referee of the elections, with persons who are affiliated or members of the party.
Recent appointments to the commission have raised eyebrows, with some CSOs claiming the appointments are full of partisan individuals.
Rev. Akua Ofori Boateng, Salima Ahmed Tijani, and Dr. Peter Appiahene have been sworn into various positions in the EC, with claims that Dr. Appiahene is a known NPP communicator in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Despite these concerns, the NDC remains optimistic about their chances in the upcoming elections. They believe that Ghanaians are disillusioned with the current government due to the bad state of the economy and poor policies implemented after they promised the citizens heaven.
The NDC is aware of all the shenanigans being played by President Nana Addo and the NPP to remain in power, but they remain undeterred. They are determined to win the 2024 elections and ensure that Ghanaians receive the leadership they deserve.
