Bechem United star, Augustine Okrah has finally broken his silence after headbutting assistant referee leading to sent off after they lost to Hearts of Oak in the MTN FA Cup Final.
Augustine Okrah who recently got Black Stars call-up got a red card in the second half in an intense game at the Baba Yara Sports on Sunday.
Okrah was sent off for headbutting assistant referee after he disagreed with a decision that went against him.
His sending-off affected Bechem Uited, but was an advantage to their opponent Hearts went ahead to secure a 2-1 win and lift the trophy.
Following this, the Bechem United forward has apologized for his behaviour which cost his team so much in the MTN FA Cup final.
“I tender an unconditional apology for the unethical behaviour that caused my early exit from the FA Cup final between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United t the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday,” Okrah said in a statement.
“I am extremely sorry and remorseful for the harm this have caused including hurting sentiments. I am ashamed of myself for having behaved in such a manner.”

Okrah scored 18 goals this season for Bechem United. Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak won the game to win the MTN FA Cup back-to-back after doing same in 1999-2000.
This means Hearts of Oak will represent Ghana in the next season CAF Confederations Cup.
