Messi’s Brother Blasts Barcelona And President Joan Laporta
Lionel Messi is not just one of Barcelona’s favorite sons; he is also one of, if not the best player in the history of the team.
Messi’s siblings include Maria, Rodrigo, and Matias. Currently, Matias is the one grabbing media attention.
The topic of Barcelona was discussed with Matias and other streamers, including Tomi, Messi’s nephew. Then Matias went on a tirade about the club, specifically attacking president Joan Laporta.
“I have a clipping from SPORT pasted in my home that reads, “Messi should return to Barcelona,” with the caption, we are not going back to Barcelona, and if we do, we are going to conduct a nice cleaning. One of them is to oust Joan Laporta.
“The residents of Barcelona did not back him. People ought to have left to participate in a march or something, allowing Laporta to exit and Messi to stay.
Spanish people are traitors. I’m telling you this because I want it to come from the bottom of our hearts and for us to stop listening to lies.”
Matias believes that without his brother’s influence, Barcelona wouldn’t be as well-known as they are today. Messi spent 21 years playing for Barcelona.
“Messi, I believe, helped Barcelona become well-known. They were unknown before. Anyone who has had the opportunity to visit Barcelona and visit the museum can see that Messi is the museum,” he iterated.
We can only guess what Matias’ well-known brother will have to say about the comments made by his brothers, but Barcelona and Laporta are clearly outraged by his statements.
