Massive reactions as Mahama causes stir online with his new year message to Ghanaians

The year 2020 was filled with many surprises, uncertainties, and anxieties. Thus same year brought many extreme consequences and threats to human life especially since the inception of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic caught the world unaware and created panic among global leaders and citizens leaving people sitting in tenterhooks as it was difficult to decipher an affected person from an unaffected person.

It was all joy when the world finally said goodbye to the year that was fraught with these harsh incidents and gladly welcomed the new year. Many stormed Churches to express profound gratitude to God and also seek blessings and guidance as they usher themselves into the new year.

As usual, during the beginning of a new year, many people send best wishes to their families and loved ones. Many political figures and Members of Parliament also do the same. Earlier today, President Akuffo Addo dropped a good and heartwarming message for all Ghanaians.

A while ago, the leader and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has caused a massive stir online with his message to Ghanaians as we enter the new year. Mahama has been one of the most respected political figures and goes into history books as one of Ghana’s astute and democratic leaders. He [John Mahama] together with his wife, former First Lady Lordina Mahama, and his family have wished Ghanaians a happy new year.

He took to his official Facebook page to thank the Lord for a new year and also for guiding Ghanaians and his supporters into the most anticipated 2021. He shared a beautiful photo together with his wife and captioned; “Wishing you a Happy New Year”.

Meanwhile, this message from John Mahama seems not to be taken lightly by Ghanaians as netizens have massively reacted and wished him back.
