Imagine Mahama Had Asked Chief Justice, Georgina Wood To proceed On Leave By Force
Imagine between 2013-2016, President John Dramani Mahama asking the Chief Justice, Georgina Wood to take her accumulated leave.
1.”Mahama must stop forthwith this judicial interference.” Ghana Bar Association. It will be followed by a writ of summons with a statement of claim and an Injunction application which will be granted ex parte.
2. “This recklessness must stop. The directive by Mahama amounts to judicial interference and undermines the independence of the judiciary.” Association of Magistrates and Judges.
3. ” Mahama has taken his northern agenda to another level.” Professor Stephen Adei
4. ” Mahama has no respect for the rule of law.” OccupyGhana
5. “Mahama has taken us to the dark days of Re Akoto.” Senior Advocate of Ghana, Lawyer Sam O.
6. “Mahama has desecrated the Constitution.” Peace Council

Every area where we diehard supporters of Nana Addo expected him to do better, he has done worse!!! Stop this practice of removing the IGP, CEOs, and CDS when a government changes. Akufo Addo has added the electoral commissioner and the Auditor-General. (Who doesn’t know that the very day the NPP leaves power the electoral commissioner will have to pack out of her office even before she is sacked?) Stop victimization of perceived opposition businessmen, Akufo Addo has done worse.
Nana Addo does not simply understand that the marking scheme we use for him or our expectation of him is totally different from what we use for the so-called “incompetent” ones. He continues to behave like that pastor’s son who always tries to prove that he is more gangster than the street kids but doesn’t understand why the pastor’s son is punished the most.

What is the meaning of the independence of the Auditor General? I won’t be surprised if his latter-day supporters defend him by saying John Dramani Mahama did worse. What do you expect of people who in opposition said someone is incompetent but after coming to power and realizing how useless they rather are coined a tern, “the alternative is empty” meaning they know for a fact that they are useless but they are better than the incompetent ones. When did governance of this country, people’s lives for that matter turn into a competition of who is more useless?

Nana Addo who should know better and act like a Nelson Mandela has reduced the Presidency to a platform for settling scores. Now he wants to even settle 70 years old scores. (Kwame Nkrumah and JB Dankwa). It is shameful. Even John Dramani Mahama the “incompetent dead goat” was not this impulsive and vindictive.
God bless Ghana.

Our Vigilance Has Reduced Foreigners On Ghana's Voter Register - John Boadu

The General Secretary of of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr John Boadu says the vigilance of the party’s polling agents during the mass voters registration exercise which ended last week has led to a drastic reduction in the number of voters in constituencies along Ghana’s borders.

According to him, this was achieved by the vigilance of the party’s agents in challenging foreigners, mostly those close to the border towns from registering.

He said in some border constituencies, the number of voters on the register reduced by over 12,000 people as compared to what existed on the previous voters register.

Mr Boadu was addressing a press conference in Accra Monday afternoon, August 10, 2020 on the just ended mass voter registration exercise.

Arguing in support of the Electoral Commission’s decision for the new voters register, Mr Boadu said the exercise has helped to prevent about three million names from staying on the electoral roll which hitherto should not have been there going by the law.

He said at the end of the voter registration exercise last week, the EC registered a little over 17 million people.

That, according to him, if the EC should have gone ahead to use the old voter register and conducted a limited registration exercise, per the statistics, the EC would have added three million more people who are not qualified to register, hence increasing the figure to over 20 million people.
