See Full List of Senior High Schools in Ghana with COVID-19 Cases so far

As it has been announced by the World Health Organization (W.H.O), that the Covid-19 has come to stay and it is spreading so everyone must adhere to all the precautionary measures and stay safe.

The President of Ghana ordered the reopening of schools for only the final year Students across Ghana so that they can write their final exam and go back to their various homes.

After the reopening and Students reported to School across the country, some students in the various schools have been infected with COVID19. As it stands, 8 schools have recorded cases of the COVID 19 pandemic. Here are the schools

1.Adisadel College at Cape Coast –13 Cases.

2. Mfantseman SHS at salt pond – 13 Cases

3. Apam Senior High School – 7 Cases

4. Accra Girls SHS in the Greater Accra Region has recorded 6 Cases.

Policemen Allegedly Attacks People In A Vehicle To A Funeral In The Volta Region On Suspicion Of Going To Register To Vote

A video currently circulating on social media that captures an altercation between some Police officers and a group of people.

The video is said to have been captured in a part of Ketu-South constituency in the Volta Region.

According to what we gathered, the scuffle resulted after the officers stopped the bus on suspicion that the people therein were bused from Togo to go and register for the Voters ID.

The passengers were seen arguing with the officers that they were only going for a funeral but the police officers also insisted on knowing more.

125 Ghanaians deported from USA – Foreign Affairs Minister Reveals

125 Ghanaians deported from USA

Foreign Affairs Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, has said some Ghanaians numbering 125 have been deported from the US to Ghana after they have outlived their stay.

According to her, another 22 Ghanaians are waiting to arrive in the country after the COVID-19 is over since they have also outlived their stay in that country.

Speaking on the floor of parliament, Mrs. Ayorkor Botchwey said these are measures put in place as part of conditions that led to the US lifting its visa restrictions on Ghana.

She said the pandemic had stalled the processing of emergency travel certificates for the deportation of illegal Ghanaian immigrants in the United States.

The government, has, since the outbreak of the Coronavirus evacuated a lot of Ghanaians who are stranded in many parts of the world back home.
