First West African Grhasta Guru – H. G Srivas Vanacari Maharaj Celebrated and out-doored

The first ever west Africa Grhasta Guru of the Hare Krishna Movement has been celebrated and out doored.

The event saw great personalities such as the outgoing Eastern Regional Minister, krishna friends of the Diaspora, members of the media, The Hindu monastery, classmates from Tamasco and other members of the movement from different branches gracing the occasion.

Speaking to H.G Srivas, he described his state and feeling as a mixed one and called on all to support him in prayers on the part he has chosen
“I have a mix feeling thus grateful as most of my predecessors didn’t get such service but also entertaining some great fear as i know the service is not an easy task especially to choose disciples to work with and also train for the work of the Lord. On this note it is my prayer that my predecessors and all persons will help in praying for me to deliver as the Lord and the service demands”

He concluded by thanking all well-wishers, Hon.Eric Daffour (outgoing Eastern Regional Minister), His classmates from Tamasco, the Church and devotees who were present for their support and love shown him.
