Kofi Adjorlolo Finally Releases Names Of Producers Owing Him

Ghanaian Actor Kofi Adjorlolo has sent some names of producers who he claims are owing him after a work done to FIPAG.

Kofi Adjorlolo has been ranting for some weeks about some producers and directors who do not pay after shooting a movie. These accusations caused a lot of commotion amongst other actors and actresses.

Kofi Adjorlolo said;

“About seven producers in this country owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home, I’m hungry, and then when I’m sick too nobody pays attention,” he fumed. “Look we have elderly people lying down on their sickbeds and these producers owe them. Actors in Ghana here know what I’m talking about, these producers don’t pay!”

He explained saying;

“Some of the producers in Ghana here, they should respect themselves…an old man like me, they call me to come and work and they can’t pay me…,” a seeming frustrated Adjorlolo complained.

“About seven producers in this country owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home, I’m hungry, and then when I’m sick too nobody pays attention,” he fumed. “Look we have elderly people lying down on their sickbeds and these producers owe them. Actors in Ghana here know what I’m talking about, these producers don’t pay!”

His rantings have drawn the attention of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) who issued a 14-day deadline warning to him to apologize and use the right channel to have his money paid to him.

The association boss has disclosed that Kofi Adjorlolo has finally brought the producers names but those two people aren’t part of the association.

James Aboagye, president of the association, in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz said;

“He has given me two names so far and those producers are not even FIPAG members. We would issue a statement. We have to let people know.”

He explained that plans are underway to have the Producers pay.

Lack of Financial Support Hindering The Progress Of Northern Gospel Music – GIFTY AKUTEK

Fast rising Gospel artist Gifty Akutek has voiced out her opinion on the lack of support for Gospel musicians in the Northern Region making them fall short  in the Gospel Fraternity.

In an exclusive interview on Bishara Radio Tamale, the Gurimam hit maker emphasis that Gospel music in the Northern Region lack the necessary financial support which is hindering their progress making them to struggle or even compete with those in the Southern sector.

She stressed that, although there are many talents in the Northern Region, but financially they are not getting the needed support. When asked why her songs are not popular in the Northern Region where she hails she lamented that it’s due to financial difficulties that prevents her to promote her songs in the Region. She is further calling on the Media, Cooperate bodies, Businesses and the general public to put effort in helping breach the gap between the Northern and Southern sector financially when it comes to the Gospel Music Industry.

Gifty Akutek who doubles as a financial Risk Analyst and a Gospel Musician has songs like “My Redeemer, I have a Friend, Gurimam meaning (Protect Me Lord) among others to her credit. She has also been nominated in the Gospel Artist of the year and Gospel song of the year category of the Northern Entertainment Awards.
