I have the biggest fan base in Ghana; not social media fans – Fancy Gadam

Tamale biggest music act, Fancy Gadam born Mujahid Ahmed Bello has revealed that no one comes closer when it is about the fan base of musicians in the country.

Fancy Gadam has on several occasions single-handedly filled the 21,000-seater capacity Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale and replicated same at the National Theater in Accra as well as the Bukom Boxing arena which appears to vindicate his claim.

The Northern based singer seems to be happy and proud as he boasts about the massive support he has enjoyed from his origin and said he possesses the biggest fan base in the country.

Speaking on Kumasi based Angel FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the Total Cheat hitmaker revealed that he is the only artiste with the biggest fan base in the country and there is no contention about it adding that the records are available to show.

“I have the biggest fan base in the whole Ghana and my fans are not social media fans. They are real fans one can see”. Fancy Gadam said this on Angel Drive.

The artiste was in Kumasi during the Eid Dul-Fitr celebration to entertain his fans in Kumasi at the Kumasi Rattray Park as many defied a downpour to fill the recreational centre.

Some of the common things a lover of Hiplife genres of music is likely to experience from his artiste will definitely be bragging right and superiority.

Government see entertainers as jokers – Pascal Amanfo

Ghana-based Nigerian movie director and producer, Pascal Amanfo has lamented the neglect of the Ghanaian government of the entertainment industry.

He sadly stated that leaders of the country do regard entertainers as serious people.

Pascal said they only see entertainers as jokers and useless people.

The popular movie director asserted that the government can rake in a lot of money if they invest in the sector.

He stressed that the profit that can be generated from the sector can even be more than oil money.

“I will entreat the president of Ghana to see entertainment as a business. Entertainment is a huge money-spinner in America. I think our leaders do not know…they see us just like we are just joking around,” told Kisa Gbekle on GHOne TV’s BOE in a yet to aired episode.

Pascal Amanfo added that the government should see the potentials and how entertainment can help reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

I have suffered several spiritual attacks – Nana Yaw Sarfoh

The host of Ghana Be Ye Yie on Vision 1 FM in Accra, Nana Yaw Sarfoh, says presenters of spiritual programmes or shows that deal with things of mystery must be spiritually strong.

Using himself as an example, Nana Yaw said he had been attacked spiritually several times and had it not been for how strong he was, he would have been dead by now.

“I pray a lot and commit myself into the hands of the Lord and that has helped me survive me for years now. I was paralyzed for almost three months but here I am today still strong and continuing my work.

“It is amazing that those who plot bad things against me come to confess to me and I give them airtime on my show. I don’t have bodyguards or any charm but the Lord I serve is my everything,” he told Graphic Showbiz in an interview recently.

According to Nana Yaw Sarfoh, a radio presenter who handles spiritual programmes like his will fall and even end up dead if his spiritual life is weak.

“All sorts of spirits want to come and test you to see whether you are truly a man of God or not. Some of the revelations I hear amaze me.

“I never knew there were plots to kill my wife and children but they never succeeded and came to me to confess,”he said.

Nana Yaw Sarfoh said being spiritual had opened his eyes to see so many things and now he was very careful who he dealt with.

“God directs me as to where to go and who I shouldn’t be friends with and my instincts have never failed me,” he added.

The award- winning radio presenter said he was done filing for nominations for any award scheme in Ghana since it took away time from doing God’s work.

“The stress of telling your fans to vote for you all the time can be hectic. I believe I can use that time to do something profitable such as evangelical work. I thank every event organiser that has awarded me in the past but I am no more interested in awards,” he explained.
