Final funeral rites held for late musician Anokye Supremo

Friends and family of late musician, Anokye Supremo, last Saturday gathered to pay their last respects to late highlife musician Anokye Supremo.

The sombre ceremony was held at the Atomic Energy Park near the Atomic Police Station in Accra after which he was interred.

Anokye’s death earlier this year shocked many.

Despite the fact that he had been battling brain tumour, which made him blind in one eye, the highlife act was expected to make full recovery after being flown out of the country to India for surgery.

However, after the brain surgery, he failed to regain consciousness, sending him into a coma before his eventual death, his manager, Zack, said in an interview.

His body was subsequently brought home after news of financial challenges, which according to reports, nearly made it impossible for his body to be returned home, hit the media.

Anokye Supremo became a household name in Ghana due to his unique resemblance to the legendary Ghanaian singer, Daddy Lumba.

He called himself Daddy Lumba Jnr. but rebranded himself to Anokye Supremo after the ‘Aben Wo Ha’ hitmaker threatened to sue him.

Sex between 12am and 2am produces a male child – Yaa Pono reveals

There exist several theories and myths about how couples can get their choice of sex (male or female) in reference to child bearing.

Some of the ways or theories although scientifically proven but not 100% reliable perhaps so as the newest theory or if you like myth put forth by Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono.

According to the above-mentioned rapper, chances of conceiving a male child is high when couples especially himself adopts strategy of having sexual intercourse between the hours of 12am and 2am.

Originally named Solomon Adu Antwi, in an interview with Miriam Osei-Agyemang on Urban Blend Show on 3FM, Ponobiom revealed that he comes from a family of fourteen sisters and will want to change the status quo this time.

He however sounded optimistic that when his timing is right as far as sex is concerned he will have a male for a child. His comments came as part of the struggles he was sharing about his life including marriage, work and family.

I won’t waste my time suing Eno – Mix Master Garzy

Mix Master Garzy says he’s empathetic towards Rapper, Eno reason why he’s not sued the artiste.

According to him, Eno has breached several clauses in the contract she had with his record label but he’s decided not to pursue her legally.

In an interview with Zionfelix, Garzy indicated that he’s focused on helping other talents who have the needed traction to become big and therefore has no time to chase Eno who left his record label.

He mentioned that close associates are calling for him to teach Eno a lesson but he intends to focus on the positive side of life rather than chase Eno with a legal suit.

Forgive Hitmaker, Teephlow has hinted of his immense contribution to the development of music in Central Region .

Responding to a question posed to him by the host of Wizgh TV , Kweku Bee Abrante that Cape Coast expect a lot from him for the love and support shown him, Teephlow responded that

He has also performed in Cape Coast severally for free without a penny. He recounted all the shows he played in Begyaya, CMA’s townhall shows, Obama City shows, Easter, Christmas, New Year etc were all shows he did for free.
I have been there for Cape Coast all along and contributed my quota

“…but as time goes on , investment becomes bigger and when investment gets bigger, there should be some returns and so when you call me for a show, I expect you to at least pay for my T&T, my DJs etc, but to expect free show at this time is a no,” he hinted.

Speaking on collaborations, Teephlow also hinted he has collaborated with lots of up coming artists to give them that face lift.

He was however displeased that some of these artistes do not have patience to wait for him.

Teephlow added that when they send the songs to him, they want him to record the next day which “doesn’t work that way.”
