DL FM’s DJ Hitman Nominated for Highlife DJ of the Year at the 11th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards

Fresh off his crowning as the Best Radio Show Host in Ghana, DLFM’s very own, Hitman, has now notched up another impressive feat. The host of the “Awosoo” show and “DL Entertainment Show” has been nominated in the Highlife DJ of the Year category at the 11th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

He faces competition from notable radio personalities such as Papa Bills from Hitz FM, Mickey Darling of Peace FM, Abacius of Pure FM, Professor Wise of Pluzz FM, Oyokodehyie Kofi from Accra FM, and DJ King.

DJ Hitman, known privately as Prince Charles Obeng, is a seasoned on-air-presenter and disc jockey with over 15 years of experience. He previously worked at YFM, Anigye FM, Kantinka FM, My FM, Freedom FM and Biyac FM.

The hotly anticipated 2023 Ghana DJ Awards will be held, on Saturday, 25th November at the Grand Arena in Accra. The Awards were created to celebrate and appreciate the talents of Disc Jockeys (DJs) in Ghana. It is the only national award scheme in Africa that celebrates and rewards DJs for their work.
