Accra Floods After Heavy Downpour
On Saturday morning, following a brief downpour some parts of Accra got flooded.
Flood prone areas such as Adabraka Sahara, Dansoman, Odorkor, Kaneshie First Light,and Abbosey Okai were affected by the floods.
The situation led to a heavy vehicular traffic in different parts of Accra.
Motorists were left with no choice but to abandon their vehicles after their cars and motorbikes got choked in the floods.
Also, rainwater entering the homes of some people in the capital left many properties destroyed.
Ghanaians have as usual expressed their frustrations and bemoaned at how a little rainfall causes floods.

Some Ghanaians who were affected by the floods immediately took to social media to vent their frustration the situation.
The video captured below shows the moment the main Kaneshie highway in front of the market got flooded.
