ACCC Set To Host A Fun Ride Before RideAfrique In 2023
Africa Connect Cycling Club, ACCC, the largest cycling organization in Ghana, will host its inaugural fun ride in Accra on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
The event, which is anticipated to draw more than 50 bikers to the nation’s capital, will serve as a platform for raising awareness before Africa’s largest cycling race, known as “RideAfrique.”
Richard Agu, the Chief Executive Officer of RideAfrique Limited, spoke in advance of the event on Saturday.
“It is a fun ride so all are invited, it will come off every last Saturday of the month. There will be refreshments for all, no prizes,” he emphasized.
Moreover, he continued, “Credit to Isaac Amankwah, the club manager of ACCC for making this project possible. We also have Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah of Peace FM being our guest of honor on that day.”
It is anticipated that the race will begin at Abrantie Spot in Lapaz, travel through Achimota Roundabout and Achimota Forest, GIMPA Bypass, Haatso to Atomic Roundabout, Kwabenya to Ablekuma, and then end at Papaye Lapaz.
