(Video) Selfish & Hateful! Nigerians Snubded Stonebwoy During His Performance at 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards
Recall! In 2018 Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and other Zylofon Media signees experienced this same unpleasant “Silent Treatment” from Nigerians at a concert that was aimed at celebrating Menzgold’s entry into Nigeria.
Unlike Ghanaians, Nigerians are the only breed of Africans who will never support another West African musician and they just did that to Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy was the only Ghanaian artiste billed to perform at this year’s Soundcity MVP Awards which came off just yesterday at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos. The dancehall artiste, however, was not well received by the Nigerians as he appeared on stage to perform.
Videos seen by ENewsGhana.com which saw BHIM boss giving his best performance at the show, the Nigerians who were present at the event refused to cheer him on as though he was some underground musician performing on stage. They even sat in their chairs in some videos. In other videos, they were seen standing as though the musician did not matter to them.
Even some of them were even pressing their phones. That did not stop the musician from delivering.
The Burniton Music Boss is not the first Ghanaian artiste to suffer such a fate. The likes of Shatta Wale, Kuame Eugene, Joy Blessing, Becca, Kumi Guitar and the rest have also been ignored before.

Is it that time Ghanaians also stop patronizing Nigerian musicians? Oh Yes! I think it’s past due.
