Enock Agyapong Writes; Never Let the Hailing Fool You
C.E.O of Speech Productions Enock Agyapong has pen down some interesting advise to Artists and Record labels in the Music Industry. The Advise which goes with mixed feelings seems to address some key issues in the music industry basically how some fans hails their favorite artist but within a twinkle of an eye they left them for other artists indicating their fade out.
Below is his Facebook Post:
Same Fans who hailed Samini, left him & divided themselves for Shatta & Stone and this cannot be called Loyalty or Consistency.
Lumba, Amakye, Kojo Antwi, Lord Kenya, Kwaadae, Obour, Tictac etc have all had their fair share of these inconsistent Fans.
As an Artist you shouldn’t let the praise singing of such confused masses eat into your head because they will leave you when you need them most.
As must as Fans are an important part of the industry they must also learn to be Loyal instead of divisive and acting like cotton wool in the wind with No Sense of Direction.
We’ve had instances where Artists have reconciled and yet some of these divided Fans insist on staying divided and it behold on these Artist to help redirect those stray Fans.
Yes Bloggers will create confusion for Likes & Views but if we all refuse to fan these fires trust me it will never blaze.
As Industry Players Let’s put the INDUSTRY First above every Manager, Artist, Composer, Publisher, Media Person, Politician and these Fans since that’s the only way to build a successful sustainable Industry.
Players can’t continue making money in their active years and continue to die poor in their last days just because they thought of themselves alone and how to satisfy their Greedy Self.
Nobody on Earth can Satisfy GREED.
You can only learn to be CONTENT.
Give a helping hand when you can and that’s the only way to receive help when you need it.
Money is Numbers and just like Numbers its infinite I mean endless so chasing Money is like running after a mirage your entire life.
Hope Covid19 thought you some lessons on how worthless money is when it comes to Life and indeed the most Valuable things in Life like the Air you breathe are for Free.
Let me end with just one example with no malice.
Just about 20years ago Slip Music a Record Label had all the Superstars like Lord Kenya, Daasebre Gyamina, Nana Quame and countless Artistes with all the Fans you could imagine but today he cannot even boast of just one(1) Artiste. Same way majority of those Artist are nowhere to be found in the spotlight.
Let’s take a break and build the industry and stop chasing the wind fruitlessly.
